MDVP is a street drug that has been around for many years. The drug is also called “monkey dust” or “purple rain.” MDVP is a powdery substance that can be snorted, smoked, or injected.
The drug often contains other drugs such as methamphetamine, ketamine, and amphetamine and can cause hallucinations, delusions, and paranoia. The symptoms of MDVP use are similar to other forms of psychosis.
The effects of the drug last for about four hours.
On its own, MDPV is a potent and addictive stimulant that has been linked to psychosis, paranoia, and hallucinations. MDPV is a Class B drug under The Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 (Amendment) Order 2010. It is illegal to sell, buy or possess MDPV in the UK.
